Medical and Surgical insurance is designed primarily to help contain the costs of medical services rendered to you or your dependents. Today, insurance companies seldom pay 100% of the medical and surgical charges. Policies have a personal deductible, copayment, and/or non-covered services which the patient is responsible for. There may be a yearly maximum to be considered. All of these variables combine to determine the benefits that you will ultimately recieve, according to your particular plan.
Our office is participating in most insurance programs, HMO and PPO plans.
The initial office visit an/or copayment is expected at the time of service. For additional treatments such as X-rays, injections, or debridements, we will allow time for insurance reimbursements. We will submit the total charges including any paid fee to your insurance carrier on your behalf. However, to do so, we must have all forms required by your company, your policy number, and the social security number of the policy holder.
Statements are sent each moneth to keep you informed on the status of your account. It will indicate if the insurance was submitted, if the insurance has paid, and any personal balances after the insurance.
Mastercard, Visa, and Discover are accepted.
